Every step in life is unique. Each new turn is filled with its own challenges and triumphs. This season of my life has been filled with laughter, hard work, beautiful people and heart wrenching poverty. Although I am a firm believer that everywhere you go “people are just people” the contrast between life as I knew it and the reality of life in Central America is shocking.
As we look about in our world today, it is easy to see that this is not how life should be. Only a few minutes of the morning news or simply reading the headlines in the local newspaper is enough to paint a dismal picture for the rest of the day, but if one can learn to open their eyes there are all about us small reminders of a God who loves us. Sprinkled all throughout our days are whispers of heaven, moments of joy: seeds of salvation. They are all around us whether we choose to see them or not all set in motion from the beginning by one who is higher.
This blog is an outlet for me as a missionary, son, friend and student of life to share with the outside world my thoughts, adventures in loving God and loving people and stories of my life: This pursuit in discovering with others the love of God.
