IBI Pastors Training
Interdenominational Bible Institute
Pastors Training School is an 8-month program for rural Honduran Pastors. Many of these pastors have never had any formal biblical training and have never learned how to preach before. However, three missionaries in Gracias, Honduras have teamed up to bring these pastors in and train them.
The Interdenominational Bible Institute was formed in 2015 and begun teaching in March of 2016. Our aim is to teach Honduran Pastors how to study the word of God and Preach biblical sermons. To see our village churches replicate the biblical model of what a church should be faithful preaching of the bible is of primary importance! We teach in the classroom setting each month with classes meeting separately, focusing on individual curriculum, but we as teachers also travel to our pastors’ villages each month, mentoring and walking together with them through life in ministry.
Our mentor program is vital to the success of each pastor in attendance at the Bible
Last year we were privileged to work together with 4 missionaries in differing capacities, 9 Honduran Teacher/Mentors and several guest teachers that joined us on short term mission trips.
