A Wedding in the Mountains

Two weeks ago we were honoured to be at one of our pastors’ wedding! hmm wait a minute, a pastor and not married?

Miguel and his wife Maria have been married since 1998 legally but had never stood in front of a pastor in a church. For whatever reason, financial stress, too busy… they did the hard part, but now felt that they needed to “make it official.”

As Miguel’s “teacher” I was invited to come and perform the ceremony!!

Cynthia, Matthew and I along with our good friends Frank and Melissa from 61 Isaiah ministries made the drive and even the hike to share in the special day with Maria and Miguel..
